Here we are at our second Sambar hunting camp. Quite comfortable to say the least. We got a little rain on occasion too. We stayed nice and dry when in camp. The entire camp was surrounded by wild blackberries.
Well, no Sambar stag again for me again at the second location, but..
I did get lucky and pop this Alpine dingo! As you can see, I am quite pleased. The fine Parker & hale 308 Norma Mag. that I borrowed from John G. did the trick to say the least..
Well, the three of us struck out on Sambar, but we stopped by to visit with one of Georges mates on the side of the road on our way back to Melbourn. Adrian (holding the Sambar head) shot this ripper along with a smaller stag that same weekend! What a trophy!
